Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CalAlarm ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. This English version is provided for convenience; if there is any conflict, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all use of the App. The App is distributed through the App Store, and Apple's Media Services Terms also apply.

2. Requirements

The App requires a device running a supported iOS version. Some or all features may be unavailable if alarm or calendar permissions are not granted.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Redistributing or reselling the App
• Using the App in violation of applicable laws or public order

4. Disclaimer

While the developer takes great care with the App's operation, the following are not guaranteed, and except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the developer is not liable for damages arising from them:

• An alarm failing to ring, or ringing late or repeatedly (including resulting lateness or missed appointments)
• Malfunction caused by OS behavior, bugs, or device settings (power off, airplane mode, OS restrictions, etc.)
• Malfunction caused by changes in calendar providers (iCloud, Google, etc.)

For critical appointments, please do not rely on the App alone — use multiple safeguards.

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its related website belong to the developer or rightful owners.

6. Changes to these Terms

The developer may amend these Terms without prior notice. Amended Terms take effect when posted on this page.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's place of residence.
